About this building

A great example of 1930s architecture in the heart of Fitzrovia, The Douglas Building sits on Great Titchfield Street in London’s West End, not far from Great Portland Street, Oxford Street and Goodge Street. This grand building has taken on a new lease of life with the help of Note Design Studio that blends its distinctive 30s features with a colourful concept that gives a sense of fluidity, light and openness throughout. There is a real focus on wellness in Douglas House too, complete with an oxygen room, roof terrace and parents' room. We were delighted to work with Note on this project, a Stockholm-based design studio who were voted Designer of the Year at the FRAME awards and also worked with us to create the striking Summit House in Holborn.
